Labioplasty

Labioplasty is a surgical procedure that corrects the labia of the vulva to achieve harmony and functionality. Due to the high frequency of hypertrophy of the labia minora, it is one of the most requested surgeries by patients.

Labioplasty

What does the surgery involve?
After thoroughly examining the patient, evaluating each individual case, and listening to the realistic expectations of each woman, a surgical plan is designed, explaining the expected results. The extent of the changes will depend on the patient's desired goals, as long as essential medical criteria are respected and based on each woman's underlying anatomy.

The patient visits the clinic where the procedure is performed. Local anesthesia is administered to the area being treated.
The labial reduction surgery is carried out, and the labia are made symmetrical while always respecting functionality and aesthetics.
Using the photothermal effect of the Diodo laser, a precise cut and subsequent coagulation are achieved with the laser fiber. This allows for working with hemostasis, edge coaptation, fewer plane sutures, with the great benefit of the final outcome.
Additionally, the laser stimulates collagen regeneration, improving and rejuvenating the tissues. It is a very meticulous procedure that does not affect the sensitivity of the area.
